Author Jeremy D'Entremont shines a light on more than 300 years of keepers and families in Boston Harbor. Living and working at a lighthouse was a special way of life that's now passed into history with the advent of automation. This illustrated talk features first-hand accounts of life at America's first lighthouse, Boston Light, as well as seven other historic stations including Minots Light and Graves Light. Jeremy is the author of more than 20 books and hundreds of articles on lighthouse history, and is the historian for the U.S. Lighthouse Society. He hosts the Society's podcast, "Light Hearted."
